DLO of explanation writing

 

We were learning about explanation writing.We got to choose out of these categories I chose how tsunamis are formed.I was being a researcher by researching how tsunamis are formed and getting that information for my DLO.I did a google drawing of how it is formed I started on my slides then went to google drawings.I used polyline to go around the pictures.

I enjoyed Researching facts about tsunamis and seeing how long they can get and how short they can get.

I disliked drawing on good drawings because using polyline was a bit tricky for me.What I also disliked was tracing the pictures for polyline.

Next time I need to 

Italy DLO🇮🇹

In term 4 week 1 room 9 and 10 received a parcel from the children around the world there were different letters.I buddy up with Ayla and we got a letter from Italy🇮🇹

 me and Ayla read it and it was from the 10 year old boy.Me and Ayla made a DLO about Italy.

I learnt how to add audio onto my DLO.I learnt that Rome is the capital of Italy.Another new skill I learnt is how to link a web page and if you press some of the images with your mouse it will take you to these pictures and facts.

I found it easy to learn how to link and put the audio onto the DLO and to record my voice on the voice recorder.

I found it hard to find out information about Italy and the traditional dances and words.

I really enjoyed finding the pictures for Italy's flag.I liked how to use the audio recorder Italy was fun to read about in the letter.

Next time I need to add a bit more detail about Italy's foods and the map.And i need to add information about italy.

Carrot knowledge

 

We were learning to grow plants I decided to grow a Carrot.I enjoyed taking photos of my plant like its a model.I found it challenging to write down the facts about carrots.Next time I will put more facts about carrots on my slide.

movie trailer powtonns

I was learning to do a movie trailer about my favourite book The BFG. This is a book about a big friendly giant and a eight year old girl named Sophie. I enjoyed choosing my characters and backgrounds. I found it hard to pick the pictures for the bad giants like the maidmasher, bloodbottler, fleshlumpeater and more. Next time I need to focus and make it look interesting by adding more detail.

Fridge door magnets for blog tips.

 We were learning to do quality fridge door comments where we choose words to put on a fridge and  for to like blog replies.I enjoyed making the words on the blank spaces.Next time I need to manage my  distractions and focus on my learning .

TikTok report

I was doing a Tik Tok report on google slides.I found it easy to write it in my book about Tik Tok.

I enjoyed Writing it in the chrome book because I got to do it on google slides.

blog tour!!!

Today I did a blog tour it was really fun to do ill filmed  it outside.Next time I might work inside because all of my friends were filming outside to and there was a lot of noise!

lockdown art!

In lockdown it was boring so when we got back to school we got to do bubble writting.We write our stuff down firstly then we coloured in it was very fun!

Heat experiment

Today room 9 did heat experiment 
where we got three cups put different temperatures in the three cups 

and wrote down if it changed temp or if it didn't.I found it easy to write down the steps of when you 

put the food colouring in!

my arty dragon!!

This is my arty dragon his name is sprinkle I made her!I found it hard to balance the water paint in the vivid lines.I found it easy to find the colours that I need!

my T-shirt!!

Yesterday I just finished my T-shirt and i'm pretty happy with myself doing it!!I found it hard to colour it the perfect colours!Next time I need to work on my drawing!!

TOT RAYYY!!!

Today we were making tot rays and making them on our slides mrs poole made our own very tot ray slide. First we chose our fonts and write our name. We got to change the background and put
images!Its was very fun to pick where you want your tot ray to be!!

INFERENCING!

We were learning about Inferencing and there was eight inferencing to do. 
Next time I need to focus more on my writing not the, backgrounds!
I really enjoyed answering the questions because it made me really think!!
I found it hard to figure some of the questions out.
I found it easy to write because I just had to look at some words and type them.

The Brike snake!

We were learning to create a google drawing of a extinct animal.

I found it hard to get all the materials, and put them in the right place.I found it easy to make my Brike snake with the shapes to use.Next time I need to find more materials,and put them in the right place.I really enjoyed the digital learning and focusing!
